Dr. Sheila Wills

European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 1998, Sheila spent five years in primary care small animal practice before undertaking a Feline Advisory Bureau residency in Feline Medicine at the University of Bristol, which she completed in 2006. Sheila then worked as a Small Animal Medicine consultant for 11 years leading the medicine departments at the Animal Health Trust and Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists as well as offering a small animal medicine advisory service for Idexx veterinary laboratories. She returned to the Feline Centre at Bristol Veterinary School to undertake a one-year feline medicine lectureship post before taking up an academic post as the director of an international veterinary postgraduate examination body. She is now a freelance feline medicine consultant providing advisory services and feline medicine content creation internationally. She is an EBVS European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine, an RCVS Specialist in Feline Medicine, and a member of the ISFM Academy of Feline Practitioners. She has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on all aspects of Feline Medicine and has a special interest in Cat-Friendly Practice and feline renal and ureteric disease.

Dr. Laurent Locquet

Diplomate ECVIM-CA (Cardiology). Cert. Perfusionist - Hon. Ass. Professor University of Nottingham - GPCert(VC) MRCVS DVM

Laurent graduated in 2015 from Ghent University, Belgium and worked in general practice for one year both abroad in South Africa as well as in Belgium, primarily with cats, dogs, and wildlife, before starting a rotating Internship in a busy referral centre in the UK. During his Internship, Laurent obtained his certificate in Veterinary Cardiology. After completing his Internship, Laurent completed a Residency in Veterinary Cardiology at the University of Ghent before joining a busy referral practice in the Greater London Area for one year before joining DWR Veterinary Specialists in 2022. In 2023, he completed a two-year certification program on extracorporeal techniques.
Laurent enjoys all aspects of veterinary Cardiology though he has a particular interest in procedures involving cardiopulmonary bypass, minimally invasive interventions, and wildlife cardiology.
